Thunder Ridge Airpark is a 385 acre Fly-in Community consisting of 77 lots, each at 5 acres in size. All residents have full access to the runway either by owning a lot adjacent to the runway or by taxable roadways to the runway. Each type of lot has its advantages: The runway adjacent lots have direct access but the property line runs to the centerline of the runway. Since the runway is a perpetual 37 foot easement each side of centerline, some of the lot use is unavailable. The lots that access the runway by taxiway may not be next to the runway but the full 5 acres is available. Either is a great value.

The project is being developed in stages. The first stage consists of lots 155-170 and 200-231 (see our plat map for more detailed information). These first phase lots are presently being sold for hangar and cabin construction beginning in June ’06. After purchasing the lot you will have full access to the runway and parking facilities but be sure to check Development Activities during ’05 for possible construction activities on the runway.
